The leading oil and gas exploration and production company Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).The primary goal of the business is to achieve excellence in crude oil and gas exploration, drilling, and production. Pak oil Jobs, On November 25, 1950, POL, a subsidiary of The Attock Oil Company Limited (AOC), was established.
In 1915, AOC made its first oil discovery in Khaur, District Attock. The company was founded in 1913.AOC has, subsequently, spearheaded investigation and creation of oil and gas in this district almost 100 years back. Following the publication of the Pakistan Petroleum Production Rules in 1949, Pakistan Oilfields Limited (Pak oil Jobs) became a part of the Attock Oil Company Limited (AOC) as a wholly owned subsidiary. On November 25, 1950, POL became a Pakistan Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company.
POL has been investing independently and in joint ventures with various oil and gas exploration and production companies in the country since its inception. The company continues to expand its exploration exposures through joint venture participation with reputable businesses as part of its aggressive exploration strategy. With a working interest of 15.5% in Block 48 and 15.2% in Block 49, the company participated in a joint venture in Yemen with MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Company, one of the largest multinational corporations in Central Europe.
